Shut the Gate
A Berridale ‘must do’ this quaint cellar door offers cosy interiors, a tasting room, character filled verandah, classic hedged courtyard with picnic tables & grocer stocked with delicious fromage, bread, charcuterie, trimmings & local produce.
Shut the Gate are a small wine producer & grape grower who are passionate about single site and best of region grape varieties. They are known for their classic varieties like dry Clare Rieslings, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet but also like to go a little off beat pushing out delicious drops like Fiano, Sangiovese, Barbera, Negroamaro and Tempranillo.
Dalgety Brewing Company
Treat yourself to a scenic drive from Jindy to Dalgety for a day out at the Dalgety Brewing Company. A perfect spot for families, friends & groups, this beautiful microbrewery is set on a small farm (yes, there are piglets) in the picturesque hills of the greater Snowy’s. Tasting paddles are available for you to explore their ever changing & adventurous rotation of beers and ales they have on tap. We highly recommend seeking out a spot in their beautiful outdoor dining area or garden. The atmosphere, food, booze and view make this a very worthwhile trip!
ESSpresso
ESS Board store & Café has the best of both worlds. Situated in the heart of Jindabyne township, it is the place to go for all your retail/rental and coffee needs. This one stop shop provides awesome barista made coffee, cold drinks & smoothies. Not to mention their beautiful array of French style pastries & toastie. ESS has a relaxed outdoor seating area that is frequented by locals and their furry friends with a small indoor area for those colder days too.
Coffee, Beats, Drinks
CBD is our beloved neighbourhood coffee spot and is conveniently located right next door to our place. The focus is definitely on quality coffee, but they do have a small selection of rotating toasties & delicious banana bread
Take a seat in the sunshine drenched courtyard or inside their cozy little café bar and sip on Jindabyne’s #1 local rated coffee.
In the evenings CBD specialises in all things whisky producing some of the best traditional & quirky cocktails you’ll find in our little slice of paradise.
Birchwood
Relaxed & modern, Birchwood is known for serving fresh, wholesome, tasty treats for breakfast and lunch. They offer an extensive range of gluten free and vegan friendly options across their seasonal menu and ever changing specials board. Salads, Burgers, freshly squeezed juice, cocktails, coffee & more. Our tip - you can’t go wrong with something out of the cake cabinet.
Parc Cafe
A super comfortable & consistently delicious spot. Parc is located conveniently in the National Parks Visitor Centre complex. Parc delivers all of your breakfast and lunch staples plus in-house baked breads, slices & muffins. Sit in the toasty indoor dining room, or soak up the sunshine on their spacious deck. Parc is a favourite breakfast spot for locals & regular visitors.
Jindabyne Brewing
Jindabyne Brewery was established in 2015 & their shed has since become a popular spot to enjoy a sunset schooner or two. Their beers are inspired by our alpine surroundings & give a nod to the traditional European style of beer. Be sure to try the Island Bend Pilzner or the tasty Kiandra Golden Ale.
Wildbrumby Distillery
Situated in the heart of the Australian high country between Jindabyne and Thredbo, Wildbrumby is the highest distillery in Australia.
Set on a beautiful country farm, the Wildbrumby distillery is well known to locals for their impressive range of schnapps & gins and their casual restaurant with a mouth watering Austrian inspired menu.
Crackenback Farm
The charming Crackenback Farm Restaurant & Guesthouse is located in the beautiful Crackenback Valley just five minutes from Jindabyne. Crackenback farm is well known for their French farmhouse style, fresh seasonal produce & carefully curated wine list.
